A frosty morning.
There were no sounds; no birds chirping, no caribou grazing, nothing. The only movement was the snowflakes drifting on the gentle breeze, blowing between the frozen trees.
A winter utopia.

Four men were crouching behind a large fallen tree, their rifles glinting in the morning sun. Their clothing was covered in a dewy layer of frost, their fingers frozen to the triggers of their weapons.
A lone grey wolf stepped out from behind a tree, its large paws leaving deep imprints in the snow. Its silvery coat shone like a moonbeam, rippling smoothly over its strong muscular form. It was the incarnate of nature's majesty.

One man spotted the wolf, and he nudged the man next to him. In an instant, all four hunters' gazes were resting on the grey wolf.

One man raised his rifle.
For you, Sarah Palin. Because I see no reason as to why we must slaughter wolves and their cubs.

Chasing after them in a helicopter until they nearly collapse from exhaustion, and then just shoot these beautiful creatures when they have no way to escape?

Yeah, how heroic.

Technically the Grey wolf is not in immediate danger of extinction, but yes, I believe the hunting should be illegal.
And thank you very much! :heart:

hmmm, i have not heard about that, though I haven't watched tv in ages.

What a horrible thing....it reminds me actually of this guy Franz Ferdinand (his assasination led to the start of world war 1). He used to go around on a train and shoot every animal he saw while he rode...I think he kept track of his kills over his life and it was over a 150,000. Seriously. x_____x;

ps: new stuff from wilemi = :la:
